In the wake of success of the popular show X Factor in which Matteo Brento was Top 6 Finalists, Matteo announced in March 2016 that he will be headlining as the Star of the Night during Albanian Fashion Week at Stage 48 in New York. Organized by Mrika Krasniqi, CEO of Albanian Fashion Agency and Nil Production, Albanian Fashion Week 2016 in New York hailed a huge success.
The sold-out show featured Matteo’s newest single #21 (Goodbye my love), greatest Italian classics, English and Albanian hits. Both a critical and commercial success, the concert was sold out and received very positive reviews from critics, who praised Matteo’s live vocals, stage presence and great performance.
The set list of the five hour long show during the VIP Red Carpet Albanian Fashion Show featured songs like “Caruso” by Lucio Dalla, “L’ultima occasione” by Mina, “La donna cannone” by Francesco De Gregori and “E penso a te” by Lucio Battisti. Other highlightgs included “Xhamandani vija vija” by Ilirët (composed by award-winning Zef Çoba), “Summertime sadness” by Lana Del Rey, and “Je Ti” by Alban Skënderaj.

The new hit #21 (Goodbye my love) is composed and written by award-winning artist Michele Bisceglia, writer and showrunner of ‘IF, winner of “Best Original Song”. The song is arranged by Alessandro Di Lascia in collaboration with vocal coach Cristina Bisceglia.
