Official Jury Statements:
Fatrin Krajka on the Best Production Award Winner “EHO”
“It was my pleasure to present the Best Production Award to the team of EHO. This film left a lasting visual and emotional trace on every member of the jury as it pushed not only the boundaries of cinematography but also the ones of artistic expression with exceptional acting performances,” stated Fatrin Krajka, Jury Member of New York Albanian Film Week.
Jamal Hodge on EHO, Winner of ‘Best Production Award’
The films themselves were impressive for their budgets and their rich variety. We had the unforgettable imagery and poetry of ‘Eho’. A film distinctly Albanian and so far removed from the American Hollywood model that at first it left me confused, before a night of reflection revealed its true beauty and intention.
