Legendary filmmaker Peter Malota is honored with the Excellence in Arts Award at the 6th Edition of New York Albanian Film Week. The award recognizes Mr. Malota for his creations and contributions to the excellence of the arts. The award is given to outstanding artists who have demonstrated lifetime achievement in art.
The award was presented to Mr. Malota by Ermira Babamusta and Enkelejd Mezini at the Opening Ceremony held at the SVA Theatre on May 26, 2017. New York Albanian Film week is produced by Nil Production and Mrika Krasniqi to promote arts and culture as a vehicle for economic development.

Malota has become the most dominant force in Hollywood. It is a privilege to present him with the Excellence in Arts Award,” said Ermira Babamusta, co-host of NYAFW.
Peter Malota recently completed his new action film “Kill’em All”, starring Peter Stormare, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Autumn Reeser; written by Jesse Cilio, Brian Smolensky, and Craig Stewart; directed by Peter Malota. Some of his notable works includes Ninja Turf, Double Impact, Nowhere to Run, The Quest.
