NY Elite: Among all your roles so far, which has been your favorite one and why?

NY Elite: What do you enjoy most about your acting career?

Leslie Kunz: Being challenged, growing as a person whether it is from a challenging role or the business side of things. Also connecting with people, from all walks of life. You come together, sharing an experience, creating new things and often time you develop deep relationships that can last for life.

NY Elite: What other hobbies and interests do you have?

Leslie Kunz: Besides music and martial arts, I love outdoor activities and nature. I absolutely love horses and riding and I started surfing. I also snowboard, figure skate a bit and I would love to start climbing. Basically anything adventurous and somewhat dangerous I like .

NY Elite: Are you working on your next project now?

Leslie Kunz: I’m waiting to start filming on 3 movies in the States. In the meantime I’m very busy working on my music, my YouTube channel and a movie script. I’m very thankful that I can call myself a working actress and to be able to live off my work at the moment. Last November I was offered lead in a stage production this summer.  I’m super excited and thankful that ‘my waiting’ consists of working on my craft, make new connections and making money while doing what I love!

NY Elite: What personal advice would you give to someone about impressing the directors during audition? How to audition?

Leslie Kunz: Don’t try to impress anyone in the audition room! Try to show the most true and authentic version of you even if it’s not what you think they role should be or what they are looking for. First they have to see YOU, to get a feel for you and what types of roles you would be good for. Then they can judge whether you are right or not. Chances are you won’t be right, but at least you made an impression and they will remember you for future roles they could see you in.

NY Elite: What causes/charities you actively support or feel strongly about?

Leslie Kunz: One of the a non-profits I’m currently supporting is called “The Justice Group”. They are strong in rehabilitating children and adults out of human trafficking, building schools, and orphanages, help reduce poverty by education and helping them get a trade or build a business. As someone who grew up like an orphan, orphaned and fatherless children are very strong on my heart as well as underprivileged families. I also have a heart for War and Conflict Zones, and that’s an area they are very involved in as well. Plus I personally know and love those people. They are the real deal!

NY Elite: What are the things in your life that you’re most grateful for?

Leslie Kunz: I’m grateful to be alive. To have breath in my lungs, be healthy and be able to pursue what’s on my heart! I’m thankful to be taken care of and fully provided for in every area of my life, which is something I’m not taking lightly. I’m thankful to be able to do what I love and have amazing people in my life. So so so grateful!
