They Cloned Tyrone trailer: Jamie Foxx, John Boyega sci-fi movie reaches Netflix in July

Netflix has released a new trailer for the John Boyega / Jamie Foxx sci-fi movie They Cloned Tyrone, coming in July

About nine months after unveiling the first trailer for the sci-fi movie They Cloned Tyrone, the Netflix streaming service has finally released another trailer for the movie, and you can check it out in the embed above! They Cloned Tyrone will be available to watch on Netflix as of July 21st.

Along with the new trailer comes the release of a batch of posters, which can be seen at the bottom of this article.

The feature directorial debut of Juel Taylor, who wrote the screenplay with Tony Rettenmaier, They Cloned Tyrone stars John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Teyonah Parris (Candyman), David Alan Grier (Jumanji), J. Alphonse Nicholson (P-Valley), Tamberla Perry (APB), and Eric Robinson Jr. (New Amsterdam), with Kiefer Sutherland (Designated Survivor), and Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained). The synopsis is short and sweet: A series of eerie events thrusts an unlikely trio (Boyega, Foxx, and Parris) onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy in this pulpy mystery caper.

Taylor has previously worked as a writer on Creed II, Shooting Stars, Young. Wild. Free., and Space Jam: A New Legacy. He produced They Cloned Tyrone with Foxx, Charles D. King, Stephen “Dr.” Love, Tony Rettenmaier, and Datari Turner. Mark R. Wright, Kim Roth, Jack Murray, Dana Sano, and Monte Lipman served as executive producers, with James Lopez and Poppy Hanks as co-executive producers.

What did you think of the new trailer for They Cloned Tyrone? Will you be watching this movie when it starts streaming in July? Let us know by leaving a comment below… and while you’re scrolling down, take a look at the posters. There’s a group poster as well as individual character posters for the characters played by Boyega, Foxx, and Parris.

They Cloned Tyrone looks like fun to me, and it earns extra points by featuring Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me” in the new trailer. But I was already sold on this movie as soon as I saw that Teyonah Parris is a lead character. I became a Parris fan while watching WandaVision and look forward to seeing her work in this movie.
